The problem we solve

Backfill Tight Lots Without the Damage

On a tight lot the loader has nowhere to go but across the grade. Beltline parks on the street and reaches 60 feet in, placing fill dirt, sand, or gravel along the foundation or down the trench in a controlled line. Less raking, less re-handling, and a cleaner grade when we leave.

  • Foundation and stem-wall backfill
  • Utility, drainage, and irrigation trenches
  • Pea gravel bedding, drain rock, and structural fill
  • Grade prep for slabs, pads, driveways, and yards
Why it works

Fill Goes Down in a Line, Not a Pile

Walk the wall

The boom telescopes and rotates while the belt runs, so fill goes down evenly along the whole foundation instead of in piles you have to spread.

Protect the finish

No loader tracks across compacted sub-base, new concrete, curb, or the neighbor's lawn. The trailer never leaves the street.

Lifts on your schedule

Place a lift, let the crew compact, place the next. The belt stops and starts on the remote without moving anything.

Truck to trench

The dump truck feeds the hopper at the curb. The material goes from the truck to the trench in one move.

Who calls us

Excavators, Builders, and Foundation Crews

Excavation contractors who want the trackhoe digging instead of backfilling. Builders on infill and zero-lot-line homes where nothing fits between the houses. Foundation crews who need clean, even backfill before the framers show up. If the loader cannot get there without wrecking something, we can.

  • Excavation and site-prep contractors
  • General contractors and home builders
  • Concrete and foundation crews
  • Utility and irrigation installers
How it works

Book It. We Handle the Material Side.

01

Tell us the job

Call or send the form: material, rough yardage, where it needs to land, and the date. You get a quote, not a sales pitch.

02

We tow in and set up

The trailer parks on the street or driveway. Outriggers down, boom out, and we are placing in about 5 minutes.

03

You keep building

Your loader feeds the hopper. We run the remote and put the material where the crew marked it. Up to 100 yards an hour.

Questions

Backfill FAQ

Can you backfill a foundation from the street?

Yes, that is the normal setup. The trailer parks on the street or driveway, the boom reaches 60 feet in and rotates 240 degrees, so we can run fill along a full foundation wall or down a trench without a loader crossing the lot.

What fill can you place?

Fill dirt, sand, pea gravel, road base, drain rock, and structural fill to 4-inch minus. Anything a dump truck can bring, the hopper can take.

Will it tear up finished work?

That is the point of the machine. The trailer never leaves the street or driveway, and the boom places material over the top of fences, retaining walls, curbs, and finish grade. No skid steer tracks across the yard, no ruts from a loaded truck.

Do you do grading too?

Beltline is conveying and grading. Ask about grading when you book placement and we will tell you what we can handle on the job. If it is outside what we do, we will say so.

What do I need to have on site?

Something to feed the hopper: a skid steer, loader, dump truck, or mixer all work. The hopper is sized for dump trucks and 4-inch minus material. We also need room to park the trailer, roughly 30 feet by 8 feet, near the placement area.
